If i can run gpcinema at 166 does that mean i can overclock to that speed? By that i mean can i tell potential buyers of my GP that i can overclock to 166? I tried a search but i couldnt come up with anything so if this has been asked already, sorry.
you can it can go 166 but add a precision : go 166 with gpcinema...
you can try to verify
PCengine, Osnes....with those 2 you will know if yours can really go that high....
(you can also try the overclock test program and let your gp32 tun for a while and see if no crash...
i tested overclocking in gpdoom (v9) and os9x (would have tested it in gpcinema too, but dont have enough money for that for some time XD)
both work just fine and my 1850mA akkus (rechargable batteries; isnt akku common to english and american ppl? o0) play for quite some time (didnt get the exact time actually..)
and funny thing is that earlier when i freshly got my gp32 i overclocked it, etc. and the same akkus just held for *minutes*, not even 5 if i remember right
so, how does it look like if u can't overclock it?
(P.S.: i have my gp32 like most of us from liksang, even if that doesnt relate to anything; i just had to say that stupid thing )
How many people can't overclock to 166mhz? My can and i find it rare not having a GP32 that can do it. And im only using 1400mAh rechargable batteries...
Try 156 I used to have to run at 156 for snes9x and then had to goto 150 for ZardozJones' emulators, kinda weird but just keep running it lower and lower until you can run without crashes!
Thanks. I wish that GP32 Cinema could be overclocked to something around 156 or 160 because I just found out that my batteries were almost dead, so that was why it was crashing at 160 mhz.
