Just got word this morning, no GP32's left at gamepark at all.

Notice play asia have none left and liksang have removed bulk deals, there won't be anymore if/until the euro launch.

We at gbax will run out this month. Dodgy times indeed!

Damn, bad news for me since I won't be able to buy before my birthday which is held at april 3rd :(

crap...i hope this doesn't discourage coders...

someone needs to just BUY gamepark, and marked the ever loving crap out of it... say...microsoft...altho it could just be xbox all over again...

Just out of interest Craig. Are your sales up or down on say 6 months ago? I thought things were looking quite rosy on the interest front but I'm not exactly an old timer on the GP32 scene.

My Gamepark arrived today :D
I bought it just in time

I do not hope microsoft buys gamepark :D that would be the end of it.

P.S.
Sorry for my bad english i come from Germany :D

The sales jump about a bit, depends on magazine articles and such.

I think gbax and liksang have sold about the same amount over the last year or so. Of the total amount which is now believed to be only 20,800 at least 8,000 are in the UK, i'd say most of the rest are in europe.

Gamepark once said 150,000 had been sold in Korea but I think that was lies.

this is bad news, imo the gp32 is a bit dieing with time... not complete, but when there are no gp32s anymore selled .... also, zodiac is finally here with its upcoming gba emu on 12 of march and gametrac is comming soon...

nerd of nerd's don't make me shoot you we DON'T want our handheld to be some pet project of the big guys, they'd make the SDK disappear and the homebrew scene would be purged by there lawyers and what-not. The gamepark is fine how it is, don't change it too drastically!

I won't be flashing my bios then... (in case it messes up, and won't be able to buy another...)

All the same this is bad news. Is the euro launch on or off?? AFAIK Virgin put an order in for 30,000?? I'm lost....

Sad news indeed (unless theres some reason for the lack of GP) At least I got one in time :D would hate to see it die though even if I only got one for emulation :(

At least we can hope for a European lauch

Whatever happens here hoping the GP scene will continue for a long time yet :)

Anyone heard anything official from Gamepark?

ah crud this is bad, the soonest I can get one is june :(. Well if worst comes to worst I can always get one from ebay, but still new would be best.
Someone has to make gamepark make more!!!

It might be a bad thing for people who havent gotten one for sure, but did anyone stop to think that maybe they didnt ship anything out so they can store up enough for the euro launch?

Companies realocate stock all the time for territories that they feel they wont have enough units for. Maybe this is the case here and they're just being quite about it.

Hopefully if the Euro launch does god they will release a shitload mroe and reveile a newer gp32 :D

And nintendo and microsoft would be bad for gp32, Sega, we already have a GP32->Dreamcast cable. If sega bought them, then sega could try once again at te handheld market :D, Sega has enough money to make an american launch too.
