Im kind off a newbie when it comes to GPCinema, actually got it yesterday, and i like it ALOT :)

Now to my question? is it possible to display subtitles with GPCinema?
Or do i have to put together my subtitlefile and the .avi-file? Is this possible to do in VirtualDub?
If theres a walkthrough, please post it!!!

Thanks

I watched a lot of anime on the GP and subtitles are no problem to read.
The typical anime ones (yellow subtitles in standard font) are very good for the small screen, while e.g. on Hellsing (white small and a special font) are a little to small, but still readable.

here is a quick tutorial :
1st you will need Vdub, a SSA file (if the sub is in SRT format then have a look for SRTtoSSA\Help\CONVERSORE.htm
)
and a plugin for Vdub : subtitler.vdf (38KB)
then lauch vdub, add filters in video menu choose sub... and select your sub...do everything else needed

converter is easy to run : choose input then create outpout
(you can choose color size bold.....)

see you :lol:

indeed, Naruto as an example is very good but Hellsing kinda sucks <_<

The subtitels, not the series B)
that depends on the group that subbed it... I have fansubs on hack sign, and some are barely readable and some turn out fine... my haibane Renmei fabsubs are complete unreadable due to the font :/

If you have the video and seprate subtitle files they won't work on the gp32 you have to go through and embed them into the acctual video file.
