I hate windows like everyone else whose smart. Anyway i have the worst version (ME) and my Pc-link cuts out right after I disconnect. When I had Xp (dont ask why I reverted to ME) it worked everytime even if I pulled it out. So can someone make better drivers or anything geese it sucks so bad. Ive had Gp32 for like half a year and this is my only complaint.

....and have to pedantically correct a posters grammar / spelling.

Well atleast the version of english I speak includes the word whose

I guess the context implies a contraction of 'who is', but it could also apply to someone whom possesses the 'smarts to hate windows'.
hmmm I'm clutching at staws with that one... and no doubt coming across as someone who would pedantically correct a posters grammar / spelling...
....bugger

I know you asked us not to ask, but seriously why did you revert to ME?

I'd rather have 95...
I'd rather use windows 3.1 then ME, nothing seems to work like it should be on that damned os

I'll take DOS 6.x anytime.

Except for extended memory errors, trying to shove things in HIMEM and doing my damndest to screw out ever last byte in order to get Wing Commander 3 up and running.

I would prefer msdos 0.1 beta, It probably had less bloat and bugs than any of the post versions of dos or windows. :D

Failing that, Gimme Amiga dos/Workbench anytime. :)

I'd use beOS but i can't do much in that hehe.

My 2000 box sometimes uninstalles the gp32 usb drivers and cause i am dev alot for my vns story on it turning the gp32 on and off alot the usb connection gets to a state where the whole pc is slowed down and the usb keeps connecting and d/c even tho the usb cable isnt even put into the gp32.

Get annoying i can't watch moves they r so choppy that its worse than the old real video feeds
<_<

I dont care if I spelt it wrong only dumbasses correct people on that, especially when you know what im saying or talking about, der  . I had to revert to ME b/c I had a pirated copy of Xp, soon ill go back to 98. It always makes me re-install my drivers. I have the hacked version of PC-link 1.3 but that makes no difference its the drivers or windows. Yet I dont see why people boycott windows Globally in one big 'dont buy shit' er.. 'dont buy from microsoft'. Anyways I was just wondering if there is someone working on this cause I know many people have this problem.

I like it when I'm corrected cause I'm not the best speller and it helps me if people tell em my errors :)

If u look at a post i made when i first came on here it was hard to read cause of the long text and the millions of spelling mistakes.

Altho most of the mistakes are me typing to fast so i can't spell proper as i miss letters or arange them in the wrong order.

and i even have errors in this <_<

But yeah please correct me people it be helpfull :)

OK, wait, now, are you closing PC-link or what? I'm not really sure if I'm understanding you correct or not, but when I close up PC-Link on my PC, the GP32 goes back to the bios screen. It sounds like that's your problem for some reason, but I'm not sure because your problem is so unclear to me.

There is a really easy way to fix all the PC Link problems thats spending like £15 on a decent SMC reader/writer and have the GP32 mounted as a drive.

I'm running Mandrake 9.0 with a KDE 3.1 front end. I only hope that it plays nice with my, soon to be arriving, gp32.

I have a windows XP box that I can use if need be but it is rarely switched on.
