I can't remove the screen over! It is stuck on completely with nowhere easy to grip! can someone give me any tips on removing it? I tried using the search function but nothing showed up!

Yes I didn't notice it at first but after seeing it in strong light it annoys the hell out of me.

• Use a hair dryer, carefully.
• Dis-assemble the '2X (I had to do this ... damn creeping dusties)

yes, USE A HAIRDRYER, CAREFULLY; the 'gentle' heat may be enough to loosen the glue surrounding the inside of the cover so you can pry it up .. otherwise, just bite the bullet and take it apart, then blast it with canned air.

... either that or grow more tolerance for your new-found dusty pals ;)

GPH is being a Bitch about the screen lint.

They told some guy on their bulletin board that it was their fault because they got it under the screen.

I don't know who can set them straight, maybe someone could talk them into letting an english speaking person with better understanding of the console respond to the technical questions.

GPH is so crazy, I don't know why all the scenes are so badly seperated.

The Italian Scene did the JTAG flash software, The gp32x.de scene is the most cohesive and varied with membership, EvilDragon has THE definitive archive, yet the Korean company churning them out makes it impossible to understand how to use the darn thing.

 I read that their basic response to the joystick complaints was "Why such a fuss over a movie player?"

I have this same problem too, as the screen protecter...uh cracked. Damn case sucks, can't put ANYTHing in it or it'll crack the protecter. So are we supposed to use a hairdryer right? How much damage will it do if i mess that up?

 ... um, the hairdryer thing is meant to remove the screen to get rid of dust underneath ... do you have a replacement for the screen (the hard plastic cover)? If not, I don't understand (?)

I'm going to go order it... Wait, are you saying that those screen protectors sold at liksang and so on are the flimsy thin ones? Not the hard plastic covers?!?! Oh crap...

You have me even more confused ... what is cracked on your GP2X? Is it the hard plastic screen with the black border around it that sits on top of the LCD and is flush with the case?

Yea, that hard plastic screen protector. You know, that annoying one that all mk1 buyers had to put on when they first got it.

yeah, those are "Screen Protector Protectors"

Could you post the link? I doubt it's the hard plastic cover. I have been proven wrong once or twice though ;)
