I've had my GP32 a while now and I'm interested in flashing the bios but I'd like to know everyones thoughts of doing this.
I would also like to know all the options, are there different kinds of bios you can have, which are the best? (where do you download them from?)
Can you flash back to the original bios if you don't like it?
I've heard that with some bios you cant run certain things (I've just bought Pinball Dreams, will that work) what doesn't work?

Im not going to review all the different firmware options ;) Im useing Mr. spiv's multi firmware scence the day my gp got here  I can run anything with it. I go into windups by default, but you can chose between the pacrom windups and the origional FW to be your default. you could flash back to the origoinal if you dont like the multi firmware...but the origional is built in to ithe mf so there isnt really a point..

sorry about my spelling and anything elts that may have confused you

I have written a short review of the MultiFirmware on my website. MultiFW is the only reason to flash your BIOS as it contains all the current firmwares that are available (i think)

Go for it and enjoy

i may be the only one, but i had problems with multi-FW.
i couldnt start snes9xgp at all, only reflashing the original bios fixed it.
also you have to consider, if you plan on using GPCinema like me a lot,
then you will have to autostart the original bios (that comes with multifw),
because pacrom or windups wont start it.

anyway, pacrom once was the ONLY way to recover one of my SMCs,
so it really was worth flashing at that time.

if you feel uncomfortable with flashing your gp32 more than once,
why dont you wait for the EU release, because the eu-GP32 is said to have a
new bios (with freelauncher included)

Well... finally got of my arse and did it tonight. Was worth it too. Put the multiFW on and it's made the gp32 a lot more interesting to say the least.....

Ah well... go for it (just make sure you have fres batteries and follow the guide to the letter!)

ok , i am going to flash tonight (the gp32 that is) but i have a question (probably a stupid one) would you use the zip files of the programs or unzip them first?
