extracting a .smc file

Why would you want to extract a .smc file? I have a feeling that you are trying to do gp32 warez :)

Booyah!!

TIME TO TAKE IT!

(anyone who hangs out at #gp32dev will understand this)

Rofl @ Rattboi.

If you've made one yourself for use with GeePee32, then you can extract it using the Gp32devtool. If you try using that for warez though, it wont do you much good; it extracts but doesn't decrypt.

And you won't have much luck in finding support for that sort of thing here...

I still don't understand how 8===D is supposed to be a mighty clock, and I hang out in #gp32dev alot :p

its a .smc of a bunch of stuff (homebrew games/nes emu + roms) that my friend made for me, and sent me. I'll try devkitadv if i can figure it out.

If it has freelauncher in it, it won't work. If it dosen't, you will have to be running MutiFW/PacRom. Anyways, I don't know how to extract a SMC, but I do know about the other prob that I just said.
