Well since i'm in the US, i'll just call it Soccer, but i've had this game for some time and never played it...UNTIL LAST NIGHT.

I've never been a fan of Soccer, but this game is very fun, one of the best games i have for my N-GAGE. Graphics are fantastic and the gameplay is extremely smooth, suprised the shit out of me to say the least.

I guess my only problem is I want to start a career mode, but I know absolutely nothing about the leagues and teams. And I know there are a lot of Europeans on this board and Soccer is popular over there, could anybody suggest a league and team to start a carrer with?

WHO WAS THE SOCCER TEAM IN THE MOVIE EURO-TRIP, was it Manchester United or something like that. They kicked ass in that movie, assuming they were the actual people.

It cracks me up that Americans base their idea on Europe on that movie. LOL

as far as i am aware, nobody in this thread has based anything on that movie. I just asked the name of the team in the movie. So i'll just assume you are talking about americans in general.

Yep, full of English players, run by a fine English Duo. Yes indeed, if you want an 'English' team, Then Chelsea.

(I am being ironic, for our western cousins. There are almost no English people in Chelsea Football club. Funny, as the Chelsea residents tend to be a little zenophobic...)

well in this game you will have to start as a manager and will have to start with one of the smaller teams(any will do), once chosen you will have to work your way up the first season(successfully, winning most your games, and work your way up the leagues, if you complete a succesful season with the team you chose you will then be offered a managers job at a better team most likely from the next league up. you can choose another one or stick with the same one.

To start with i would probably start with: mansfield, shrewbury, chester or darlington.

i hope this helps angel :)

How dare you! :p

Frank Lampard, Joe Cole, Glen Johnson, John Terry, Wayne Bridge, Scott Parker, Lenny Pidgeley

That's 7 right there.

erm, Scott Parker plays for Newcastle, Wayne Bridge is on loan at Fulham, and who the hell is Lenny Pidgely?
also dont forget England's bright young star Shaun Wright-Phillips who is currently stagnating on Chelsea's bench.

stagnating is correct....22million? my blanket would have made an adequate bench warmer, and id ahve parted with it for 20!

BTW, start with a lower league team, itll be more fun and more rewarding. Go for Scunthorpe United, theres two fans here on the boad.

LHC: sharp gets injured, we start winning games! Whats going on?!? ANyhow, dont suppose your travelling to teh chesterfield away game a fortnight from now per chance, as it looks like a dead cert ill be watching.

Just go with Liverpool in the English Premiership.

They're the Champions of Europe - hence, the best team in Europe. :D

Choosing Chelsea would be consigning yourself to Hell.

well i decided to delete my season with Chelsea and choose a much worse team. So i chose Crystal Palace. I ended season 1 with only 1 loss and 1 tie. And Andrew Johnson kicks all kinds of ass, best player on the team, gamewise.

Working on season 2.
