Ok, I'm back again, I've been experiencing a very strange problem

I just uploaded the snes emu via pc-link 1.01 (using the multifirmware 2) and my machine goes straight to pc-link v1.01 by Dark Fader, I can't see the boot menu anymore... I don't know what i did wrong

I formatted my smc card, but it keeps doing it

press select while starting up. then you get the menu again. if you want to make another FW the default (will boot unless you hold select) choose it with the B if you just want to use it, choose w/ the A. if you want to default back to meun, DL a .fxe that will do that from mr.spiv.

OKay, this is getting old :(

Now I can't seem to connect anymore to my pc, always timed out

Changed usb slot, nothing

The damn thing won't find my precious gp anymore

I'm gonna cry :(

I tried that, problem stays

Strange thing is, it worked fine an hour ago ...

Just get a SMC reader/writer, I finally decided to spend ALL my money on one, even when I REALLY didn't want to, and I didn't regret it :)

I figured it out myself, I formatted the card in pacrom and it said it found 2 bad blocks. I let it repair them and now pclink starts up fine

I wonder this is the solution many people have with pc-link...

I'm still going to get another card and a cardreader though

One last question: can every cardreader WRITE from the pc to the gp?

It will. But make sure that its FAT-16 compatible, or its usless. Oh, and do your formats in PacRom, cuz even FAT-16 compatible card readers won't format in FAT16
