I bought a license for the invision board about 7 months ago for a project that went south . If you guys want me to point it twoards your URL you could use a legit version , with updates .

Also I think it would be nice if you got a uniform skin for both the forums and the portal .

How much would it cost, I am sure people wouldn't mind donating for a decent cause.

hando was about to launch a donation drive for an Invision License so this would be really appreciated!

As for the skin, I seem to remember the forums actually looking like the portal, but when the forums were upgraded the look went back to default and nobody changed it back. It would probably need some work, but it's there.

And techFreak, no, it doesn't work with ASP.

If you still have the skin from the old forum I am sure someone can convert it to invsion 2.0x .

Edit NM /

I can just add you to my account and you will have full access . Will the site admin please pm me your email address , name (doesn't have to be real ) , and desired password . I will add you to the account .

Ya, please donate for an invision license. The forever lasting one is $175, and the yearly is 70 or 80 i think. I use IPB and it is amazing, and this version... er... not so much :p

2.1.4 is crazygood, and you could even integrate the front page with IPBSDK and such, to export topics so that the first post is news, and the comments link to the thread, so you see real comments, not a non working system. IF you guys need help with the move/upgrade, I can help, as I moved myself from 2.0.4 to 2.1 and Ive modded the hell out of my forums, and basically know it inside and out. Thats why I feel at home here I guess, as it uses IPB and im so used to it.

Sigh, I remember the times when IPB used to be license-free.

sweet I cant wait. What are some notable improvements we will be getting?
not sure! there are shitloads of security fixes and minor bugfixes/additions, some major inclusions such as blog and galleries (that we may or may not enable) but not a whole lot else. worth the 'money' for the security alone though.

How sad is this, I actually cannot wait.
Btw what happened to the old skin? If it doesn't exist anymore, do you think it would be worth making some sort of competition to make one?
