Cool, any idea of when it will have sound? Maybe look at the GP32 version I think the source was released. That version has sound and a pak selector. Maybe you could port that?

I say it on the readme, I will start with the sound at middle january, because I'm going on vacation next saturday. I already talked with squidge (he did the gp32 version) and I have his sources, but I still haven't looked at them ;-)

I think I'll add a pak selector after running with sound is stable, then I'll upgrade to openbor too.

I may be stupid, but where do you download this new version? The archive still says V.04.

I just got .06 and it fixed all of the annoying sound bugs as far as I can tell. You said to tell you of any bugs, even for mods, in the readme. All the mods that I've tried work fine, but the Castlevania: Symphony of Destruction makes the GP2X freeze when I go to quit. I noticed that it's a 'Demo' and not a 'Complete' mod, so it may just be the mod.

Oh, and another thing I want to ask is about what file extension you need for your port. It seems that only the .PAK files work, and only if they are renamed 'BOR.PAK', did this release fix that problem. When I download mods from the net, even the DOS versions, the file extension is .cdi or .cgi or something, and renaming it to .PAK doesn't work. I just go to the GP32 download area and get them there because they are all .PAK. So is it not possible playing a mod not named BOR.PAK or a mod with a different extension? Just wondering.

But like I said, I haven't noticed any other bugs, and speed is great on all the mods I've tried, and I don't OC my GP2X. Nice work.

Thanx,
Stan
