Reaction To Recalls In Korea

Initial reaction of Korean GP2x users are very positive. They all said that LCD is brighter and better, and the joystick input works better, too. Rumor said that GPH replaced the board.
 
No, they just fixed it all in software (and probably clipped the stick off the joystick top)

There are not as far as I know any hardware bugs.

Does clipping the stick off the joystick make it like the PSP thumbstick? As I really think that the thumbstick is quite weird.
