Anyone else get a second or half a second pause somethimes at the beginning of running a game or emulator?

Also will running my gp2x @ 240mhz do it any damage or shorten its lifespan?

Thanks

Well, that seems to be sort of normal, I mean, games on other systems can take a few secs to load right ?

This is where the sound mixer is being setup, nothing I can do about this as its a linux system call. Maybe when the HH sdk is complete the delay will be gone.

STFU, It won`t hurt your gp2x if you o/c it, atleast if you stay within the limits (266mhz).
So 240 is fine.
The only lifespan that will be shortened is that of your batteries...

Same came up at the start of the gp32, everyone said "Oh no, it will kill my gp32 if I o/c, it`s so dangerous" which was completely unnecessary, cause it will just crash if you clock too high, as it will happen to your gp2x.

Correct me if im wrong here, but ppl are only overclocking at the moment because all the emus etc havent been modified enough yet to utilise both processors, right?
