OMars, do you realise its purposefuly not full power, so ppl dont just download the emu and not but a gp32?

geepee32 is designed for coders to try their games out to see if they work instead of transfering it to their console everytime.

now shoo

Exactly, and to take screenshots for the GP32x File Archive, and it does both jobs pretty good.

It's not meant to be a proper bo emulato, it's just for test and screenshot purposies.

 Sheesh I didn't meen to offend anybody, just sayin' it's not compatible with every computer(mine). :D

It's compatible with every computer, you just have to know it's quirks and how to work round them :)

Sorry  I always over react when people say that emulators suck mainly because I know how much work goes into making an emulator.

GeePee32 is an invaluable tool. If the clock didn't stop after a few minutes it would be even better. What we really need is a poll to see how many people think GPH should give Reesy a pre-release GPX2 so he can write GeePeeX2. Or have they got that covered ?

At the moment, they are not releasing any technical information whatsoever, so developing a proper GPX2 emulator could be a problem, even with a gpx2 in front of you. Several people, including myself, have requested such information, and got either no reply at all, or a simple refusal.

However, they are saying that the SDK will be SDL based, so you'll be able to write your games and emu's on a PC or MAC, and then just recompile for the GPX2. No emulator needed. (It will however, be slightly slower than current GP32 methods of banging the hardware, simply due to the extra abstraction layer).
