You can machine wash and dry your gp32 usb link cable with out harm to it :D . I just did, I forgot it in my pants pocket just tested it and still works :lol: .

Treat your SMC's like trash and eventually they'll end up in your pockets and then we'll know if they're washable... :p

That happened to my 32mb card, and it still works :D

But it was in a plastic protection case, so that may be the reason, why it is still working :)

That's nothing, I make sweet, sweet love to my GP32 every day and it seems to work even better!
 
I nailed an SMC to a tree, then tried it in a GP32, and it still worked :)

Didn't seem to like anything else being put it on though, so maybe the data wasn't where the nail got put.

I dismantled my SMC Card... On the Smaller SMC's (32mb and I think 64mb) the Memory bit is behind the gold coloured contact bit :)
 
Well, I wouldntry this with your gp32_console , unless you have a spare one (hey Trooper, since your pencil test gp32 survived, how about giving this a try :p )

Lol, yeah, easy for him, as he could fit a towel through that hole to dry the gp32 afterwards :D

it was the cable not the gp32 lol
