Palm Emulator

Has anyone ever tried creating a palm os emulator? I know it doesn't make much sense considering the touch screen and lost date/time upon power off, but it would be neat to play palm os games on our beloved handheld.

No, there isn´t anyone. ;) And, christo930, you should know better than asking questions that everybody would only expect from a newbie.

fishbong....

whats the point, you guys. not every thread needs a "you should do this/that" comment.

im am aware of the irony.

Actually, that is not a newbie question at all. What if I were a developer and needed ideas for new things to do with the gamepark? I think a Palm OS emulator would be feesably neat. I mean windups does a lot of that stuff, but an actual "organizer" would work, and would be useful.

I think these kind of questions put out new ideas and challenges for people and coders to try.

Hey guys,

EDIT: Sorry, just re-read. This is NOT a palm OS emulator, sorry :( Can't play palm games on it...

GPDesktop
its a WIP, but its slowly getting there:

I was in a bit of a lull, but the news of GPS really sparked me up again on this project. It means that the GP32 can have proper calendar and date/time functions because GPS provides time info. For non-GPS users, you will have to manually set the date/time everytime you start it up though if you want calendar to work properly.

Definitely something to think about getting... A Firmware version or firmware autoexec might be something to consider. Are there plans to have it autodetect memory mods?
