ROFLMAO aint that the truth!!!

Seriously though, about the delay, is anyone really surprised? And anyways I still don't get why anyone in the UK would care... you can still get Japanese ones and when the US one launches Japanese ones will go for pretty much regular price, and since UK and Japan both share region 2 you dont need to worry about lockouts on anything. Plus you don't have to be stuck with the value pack like we are in the US.

And if I hear anyone say anything about the warranty... *readys a trout*

To be honest I'm still a little worried about this region coding stuff. Yes, people have said PSP's are not region coded in regards to games, but I see software can detect what country the device is from and act upon this, just the PSP itself will not refuse to load software from other countries.

So we could see software that's multiple region, and software that only works in specific countries....

If you're serious about getting a PSP, just import a Jap one.

It's cheap and easy.

Same region as Europe. American games confirmed to work on Jap machines. Jap UMD video in English as well (apparently) (but why you'd care about UMD video beggers belief)...and if they ever did region code stuff....go buy a new one in some pleb shop like Argos and exchange it (this goes for warranty issues as well).

The End.

Anyway I was expecting the delay to happen. I mean 1 million units is no way near enough for North america. They just can't make them any quicker. I don't think Sony wants a repeat of the PS launch

I was going to import but then changed my mind and spent my money on other things as the price of an import put me off, now that I've heard this I'll prob start saving again.

i think its daft buying a console before theres a decent lineup of software and the bugs are ironed out of the hardware. especially if it has a problem and has to be sent half way round the world if it gets busted.

but hey, ive got an atari 2600 and waiting for c64 to become stable before i get one.

moz: It took 4 years for Gamepark to add a bug to the gp32, so...
i can only agree with that logic :D
