theres some games some coders should think about porting... some suggestions are. wario ware, mario kart super circuit, gta1,2 or gba version, metel slug1,2 and zelda full version/a link to the past/4 swords using the wireless link.

and thats just about it really...

add some games youll like to see below and dicuss if the gp32 can hack it or not

can some one tell me if my suggestioned games can even be put onto the gp32.

im just curious.

no sourcecode available for those games...
you could create a similar game or port a emulator.

Sorry, theres no source code for these games (they are top secret stuff), nor will there probably ever be. Its also too much work to remake them, and you'd probably get a cease and desist if you tried. And your troll level is up by 1.

someone was doing a kinda port of wario ware (but more redone like smashgp)
it was called novaware or something...but he lostr the code ]= so hes redoing it now if i got it right

Hi there,

I have played a WIP game that is based on metal slug, how easy would it be to make levels and stuff for that? I loved Metal slug on the Arcade :)

Steve.

Ask the developer, I'm sure they can provide you with a copy of their level format to write an editor for.

what about abandonware?
there are lots of games that are sold or downloadable as abandonware can these not be used for code or is it the same principle, it has to be open source?

It has to be open source, there are no "magical decompilers" that can just give you the source back. Even if you did have it, most of them are still based on ancient Windows or DOS-based junk and wouldn't be portable without some heavy work.

so can u play the abandoned ware on the gp32 or do u need to finish or end it to get it working?

No, The abandoned ware (game, Application etc) will only play/run on the hardware it was made for, So would need re-writing or porting to the GP32.

"Source code is needed."
