C&D ROMs unzipped is ~8MB, and SFZ ROMs unzipped is around 15MB. GP32 has 8MB RAM, and you need space for the emu to reside and some work space too.
So even IF a CPS system was someday playable on GP32, you would have a small selection of games to choose from.

Your best bet is to either get a copy of PCEngine (is has some great arcade ports-Outrun is arguably better than the Mega Drive version) or load up DRMD or FGEN.

It's Multipac and it's made by Franxis who is working in port of MAME. This MAME now runs some small roms (tetris y gng) and it has a 68k core, When it'll be improved it'll run a lot of roms like SnowBros and other roms as old as it. Franxis has said that a GPMAME beta i'll be released en MadridSX on 5th of March.
Excuse my english please

DaveC posted on Feb 21 2005 at 05:46 AM said:MultiPac is just for Pac-Man games (Multiple Pac-Man). It was nice but even just Pac-Man wasn't full speed yet. I am still a bit sceptical about how well MAME will run on the GP32. If you can't even get Pac-Man running full speed with sound than you are truly dreaming if you think ANY 16-bit stuff will run at a decent speed, especially with any kind of audio.
You are being exaggerated.DaveC posted on Feb 21 2005 at 05:50 AM said:We will be lucky if Pac-Man, Donkey Kong, and Galaga run decent with sound.

My MAME port is running PERFECTLY NOW in example: Tetris, Wonder Boy, Arkanoid 1 & 2, Bomb Jack, Donkey Kong, Pacman, Galaxian, Galaga, Frogger, Kung Fu Master, 1942, Choplifter, Mario, Motos, Moon Cresta, Traverse USA...
Now at 80% aproximately: Ghosts'n Goblins, Commando, Gunsmoke, Pinball Action, Rygar, Section Z, Breakthru, 1943, Side Arms, Trojan, Terra Cresta ... in fact a little slow, but in playable way.
Now at 50% (slow): Snow Bros, Tokio, Psycho Nicks Oscar, Xain Sleena, Double Dragon, Iron Horse, Tehkan World Cup...
It does not run now: Black Tiger (i don't know why), Tiger Road (not enough memory), Toki (not enough memory), Sly Spy (not enough Memory), Robocop (not enough memory)...
I'm testing a collection of 800 games, and probably at least 600 of them are playable (total size of all games aprox. 50 Mb zipped).
But probaby i will improve the performance during these days...
The first beta will be presented in MadriSX party in Madrid (Spain) on March 5. It will be available for everyone in Internet on March 6...
But please if someone know the way to pass through gp32 sound bug and vertical scanlines, e-mail me (fjmar at hotmail point com).
