yup, I was playing Eternal Darkness at five in the morning after 36hrs without and most of the time the insanity effects tricked me. Also talking of scary games, the RE remake on the gamecube is immense. The bit with the snake is the scariest thing I've come across yet in as computer game

I have insomnia, you people should be grateful for the sleep you get. I only get about 3-5 hours of sleep per week. I regularly stayt awake for about 3 or 4 days then pass out, i wake up and repeat the process. My life is a constant haze now, things jump in and out of reality, im doing things without thnking, sometimes I will wake up lying in my backyard...Just be grateful is all im saying...

Forgot to add...going seven days is when you have the possibilty of going insane, the longest i've gone is 6. My life is a living hell, and I'm eagerly awaiting death.

Have you tried meditation. When most people first start meditating they can't enter trance state and fall asleep and if you learn to enter trance state you will be relaxed enough to sleep afterwards.

Try this technique I cut and pasted from the web:

Breathing Awareness Meditation

Free yourself from distractions (turn the phone off, the TV, radio, etc.) and let people around you know you are going to meditate for 20-30 minutes.

Sit comfortably and close your eyes.

Let your awareness settle on your breath. For the next 20-30 minutes just observe your breath; don’t try to change it. Just watch your breath.

You will notice your attention will get drawn or caught up in thoughts. That is O.K. When you notice you are thinking about other things just bring your attention gently back to your breath.

You will notice your attention gets drawn to noises in the environment or sensations in your body. That is O.K. Again, just gently come back to the awareness of your breath.

It doesn’t matter how many times you find yourself distracted from your breath as long as you return your attention to it once you notice that you have drifted.

Use a clock or watch to check the time and when you finish meditating, you no longer have to pay attention to your breath. Just take a few minutes before you open your eyes and resume activity.

Even if you don’t think you were deep – still take a few minutes at the end of any meditation.

There are 3 correct experiences in meditation: sleep, thoughts and slipping into “the Gap.” Lots of thoughts in meditation indicate the release of stress.
Do not judge the quality of your meditation by the experiences you have in meditation. Instead, look for the effects and benefits of meditation in your daily life.

If you are meditating consistently, you’ll get results! But don’t expect them overnight. Dedicate yourself to meditating regularly for at least a month or two.
If you don’t notice any difference ask your friends & family if they notice a difference in you.

not really. It was brewn like that in 18something. They then changed the recipe and still brew it like that. But they now also brew beer with the recipe of 18something, and IMO it tastes A LOT better than "usual" beer.

What the fuck else am I supposed to do? Boredom is my worst enemy. And after long enough of this, you get used to it and I'm able to function in a slightly normal way. Sometimes meditating helps, but hardly ever. And the breating excersises that my doctor gave me to do, haen't helped a bit.
