Really, folks.

This 'fixed' version of 1.3 should really be 1.4, IMHO.

Just setting the video mode to "real" seems to have cleared up the issues re. frameskip and non-sync'd sound. I've tested about 5 or 6 games and they all run brilliantly.

This may unseat LittleJohn if thing keep going at this rate :)

It works fine and I think that actually NesterGPd is the best N.E.S emulator

i tried the new nester, but i can't find the option for frameskip. i triem mario1 and mario3 and both were so choppy that it is absolutely unplayable.
actually i couldn't find any options besides video mode: real, 8bit and 16bit :(

Now I'm playing Super Mario 3 in Nestergpd 1.3, it works at 100% in 8 bits and in real mode.
In 16bits is something slow :( but it is possible to be played well

I've tested 55 roms (Super Mario 1,2,3 ... Chip'n Dale 1,2...Bubble Bobble 1,2...Batman 1,2...Duck Tales 1,2...Teenage Mutant Ninja... ) and all run excellent :p

Inside the "Video Mode" menu there is the option of Real,8 bits and 16bits graphics.

i have a framedrop of about 3 fps, i guess. and it runs too fast and choppy.

what do you mean with "runs exellent"? do you mean, you don't bother the frameskip?

Actually I tried this last night. On REAL mode (1:1) it runs the best but it is still quite a bit choppier than Little John. Plus the music in Mario 3 was all sped up. The music speed seems real inconsistant. It is a good attempt but I am sorry to say Little John still rulez.
