I searched around and found this forum and that very interesting thread. The guest user asked:

Have you completely abandoned the GP32 scene?
Yoyofr replied with:

Not at all!!!
In fact, I'm running out of free time, so I cannot work on PalmOS, Zodiac, gp32, gba, ... at the same time.
Right now I'm doing stuff for PalmOS, but I still plan to update os9xgp & perhaps ljgp32....
As for Yogg, there's already a far better ogg player.
So everyone screaming that Yoyo doesn't love us anymore, stop! <_< :D

EDIT: Oh, and note the date of Yoyo's post -- "Jan 21st, 2005, 09:15am".

Be nice people, after all he did give us LJ, one of the first out of which is still few, 90% perfect emulators. <_<

wow, that really sounds great.
i almost gave up hope, but now...everything seems to be possible :)

More goodies from that thread:
would it at least be possible to release a BLU+ fix for osnes9xgp in the near future?
to which he replies:
yeap, it's planned. I've only to find some time to see how to fix it properly... Moreover I plan on getting one, so... :)
So I doubt someone who is going to buy a BLU+ is going to abandon the GP32 scene.
All in all good news. So lay off him!

Why are some people telling us to lay off him, when we were just rejoicing that he is still working on OpenSnes9x...

Be happy people, tis' a good day. :D

you shouldnt shout at him anyway... After all He is not getting paid for all the work he does on the Emus etc.

Well, except donations that is.

This is good news, but we've been hearing it for a while now. I never thought back then that YoYo was going to adandon the GP32. Still, it's reassuring to see that he still hasn't changed his mind. :p

It was hardly abandoned. Just not had another update for a while. It's open source anyway, so even if he did abandon it, it's not the end of the world :).

True, though I've yet to come across anyone at all who's succeeded in getting it to compile, and I know a fair few have tried :(.
