going to buy one of those little blighters, FLU or no FLU?
what do you think

Well I have had a non FLU version for over a year now and its really great,

however if I was buying one now I would get a FLU version.

Flu.

The GP32 screen is big and bright enough most of the time without Flu.

But having a Flu takes away the messing about you have to do when it's not so bright and your trying angle your GP32 so you can see it.

Also it's great for playing games and reading E-Books in bed at night, or on night flights.

Whatever you choose you won't be dissapointed :)

i dont know the quality of the flu, and it could take away how good and clear the screen is already, so im staying away from flu (from the pics it looked horrable, but alot of people seem to like it)

The FLU is beautiful! Mofo, the pics don't do it justice, I assume because an external or camera light causes annoying glare for a snapshot, especially when the unit is already bright enough. :D

In my opinion, you WILL regret it if you get a GP32 without a FLU.

Mine is perfect, the light makes it much more playable in different lighting situations, even in the dark in bed, just great fun!!!!

Nah - not regret... just maybe a little annoyance you cant play it when the power company cuts you off for a few days :)

Mine's non-flu and I'm quite happy, but the flu version is great too - just depends how much you have to spend...

ordered with FLU,
cant wait to get the c64 up and running especially wizball

i can see im going to have fun :D

hello btw im new

yeah you won't regret catching THIS flu (agh.. choke.. please, stab me NOW)

seriously, I almost never play it without the light on 'cause I feel it's often too dark otherwise, the internal light fixes that RIGHT up. So glad that someone got their S together and made this solution for such an obscure system...!

i would use the flu kit on mine, but i have no money...and the money that i get is going to something that i cant say here (not porn or anything like that)
and after that, im going to invest in some stock to be rich (found one that keeps going up and down daily for the past month or so, so i can double my money every few days. >: ) ill be rich, rich i tell ya rich!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I wouldnt play my GP nearley as much if id wasnt FLU i just cant be doing with sodding around trying to get a good angle/light to play with like my GBA :(

My guess is your buying drugs and by "buying stock" you mean your going into dealing, Mofo?

Well I must admit I rlly dont play on my GP32 that much now mostly due to the lack of a FLU. Although far better than the original GBA it still is sometimes a struggle to view the screen and that then gives me a headache!
I rlly would like to play it at night but not even my main room light makes the screen that easy to view, I rlly have to tilt the screen.

Cmon somebody make that DIY FLU kit ill buy one straight away then I can start playing those games and movies in the dark.

I have the FLU-version and it's great outdoors. If you want more out of your GP32, you should buy the one with FLU. Both versions are great because of the big and well-done screen. I've heard that a FLU-kit will be available soon, so you can make your GP32 to FLU all by yourself. :D

I can't begin to imagine what Mofo would want to keep secret from us. Porn or drugs no one would really care about -- so I think he's saving money for a GBA-SP!

Long live the GBA!!!!!!!!

Back to the FLU topic, if there is still a doubt in anyone's mind, I never play without the light activated on my unit. Even while playing with lights on full in any room, the FLU improves visibility and I honestly don't know what I'd do without it. Of course, the extra dough is a problem, but sell your old walkman, college textbooks, whatever; trust me, it's worth it.
