Nope. It only recharges NiMH batteries, and no mention of a polarity switch (the GP32 uses negative polarity on the connecting plug, I think)

Maybe if they threw in at least 2 AAs it would be almost worth it, but no.

They have the manual available for download. I read it. There IS a polarity switch. It uses radioshacks' adaptaplugs. The gp32_console supposedly uses type A. The polarity is controlled by aligining the adapter tip to the - or + sign on the adapter cord.

Depends on how much you're going to use it.

I don't think it's a bad deal, it's just that I would buy a charger/battery combo instead. I don't really need any of those features.
 
I have one of these,it's great. it's a power bank, adapter and charger all in one. You should get it.
