As you may have seen, there are quite a lot of posts by me in a short amount of time. I do this quite a lot on forums, but I try not to spam, I try to contribute to the thread.

Sometimes, I just have a headrush and do this, do ya guys mind? ;P

hahaha

i think if you make a post called "do i post too much?" then you probably ARE posting too much!

but i think it doesn't matter that much, so long as you are not cluttering up the boards with useless crap. like when we see those polls "what's your favorite letter of the alphabet" etc.

forums are funny in a way 'cause they are addictive. you get into one and it's superspecialized to be about something you are particularly interested in, so it becomes kind of obsessive for a little while (at least for me anyways).. but (hopefully) the novelty eventually wears off and you can get back to your more normal routine. the internet is a strange invention and I think it's having some strange effects on society.. we all need to take a break and step outside for awhile!

that makes me wonder.. perhaps it's time for another "cluttering poll," something to the tune of "could you take an entire week and not log onto the internet for any reason other than (specifically) work-related issues?" That would be an interesting experiment.. wonder if I could stand it!! (that'd be a lonnnnng week!)

I've done it :p - a week without the net is a minor withdrawal. For the first 3 days - after that you forget about the thing.

Of course, if you manage your task, you won't see this...

Swiss: I've never noticed too many posts by you; but I also post a lot atm...

I don't think anyone can post too much as long as they're sincerely posting about the topic matter, i.e. GP32.

A user community needs enthusiastic users afterall to keep it fun.

That was at the Download Fest? Metallica should be banned from that event for shutting down Napster - after all the download fest was held so that people online could download FREE music - Metallica were the main reason why Napster were investigated, sued and then shut down.... instead of working with Napster they just closed them down to me that shows greed and no care for their fans (I'm sure many of you can argue against this ... dont bother as I think most of us have heard it all before.. :D )
