Organise your forum better or get better software that allows you to cascade changes through subforums...

its an anti flodding device
so trolls dont fill up the forums continuasly and piss everyone off
I think it's more likely that hando turned it on then made changes to the news forum (to add moderatored topics) so he turned fast reply on while there... make sure you check the box 'Enable fast reply (where available)' in your profile although that probably only makes it open by default.

Anyways PM hando and he might fix it.

Isnt that thewhole point of the "suggestions" section?

ie- so that Hando can get around to looking at suggestions in his own time.

It means that you can reply to a topic uisng just one click, ie- needing no new page.

Its great for those poor old 56k users,

Are there still 56k users?

There are lots of them in the USA at least. We have pretty poor broadband connectivity compared to the rest of the industrialized world - lots of rural areas and suburbs that are too far away from the COs.

Yes, but maybe he hasn't been checking it lately. PMing him would let him know as soon as he visits the board.

Also, I didn't realise this was Suggestions - I rarely check the forum as I visit pages from 'View New Posts'. Apologies.
