I used to use a program called Smartripper to get my movies, but that doesn't seem to work under XP - And I never really got used to it. Can someone point me in the direction of the most widely used program these days? (It's been a while, but I want to get back into grabbing my DVD's now I have this GP32) B)

I use smart ripper on windows 2k with out any problems at all. I assume that if it works on windows 2k it should work on xp with out any problems. You should check to see if you have the most recent version.

It was my bad - I wasn't setting it up correctly. It works - Cheers. Although I think I'll look at the guide (There's a guide!?!?) and see what that says! Cheers again for all your help.

Okay Got DVD Decrypter, and that looks okay, but call me stupid - I cannot find the guide! Where is it please? I'm not sure how to go from DVDD to VDub...

.. Sorry - Didn't see that someone replied - Many thanks! :D

At last! Managed to convert Matrix to my Gp32 - It's really dark, and the sound is out of sync, but it's a start - Not to have fun playing with the settings. Thanks everyone! :)

Use version 1.5 of Vdub. In the frame rate settings check No Change then just down a little put 10 in the Convert To FPS box. This isnt in the 1.3 version so if u cant find the Convert To FPS box u need to upgrade.

When adding your filters (the way you do to resize it to 320x240) Add the Brightness/Contrast filter and play with that until you get results you like.

Good luck
