That show is so lame. The fat detective guy is like "this corpse has sand in its ass... sand from the beaches of... Tampa florida, I can tell because of its mass isnt the same anywere else blah blah blah. Then he gets clues in "flashbacks" of the murder and he doesn't even do any work.

Actually I am correct. It just seems to lack any focus. In the football/rugby/etc world cup there is a definite winner which is decided by one key match which everyone can focus on and hype up.

The Olympics seems to be just a lot of random events 90% of which no-one cares about or is a slight variation on some almost identical piece of crap.

Add to this the fact that in the decent sports the best players are either A) not allowed to play or B) choosing not to play and it makes it suck even more. Who cares about the winner of an event where the best players aren't even taking part, seriously?

That's only the case with big money sports like football and basketball, the best people are in other events, unless they've failed drug tests obviously.

They're called sports, I don't understand what you mean by random.

what do you mean the best players dont take part? pros arent allowed in the boxing, only players under 25 are allowed to play in the football (i think) and its only the bitch ass nba players who think they are too big for the olympics didnt accept the invitations. other than those examples ALL the best players in every other sport regard the olympics as the ultimate tournament.

and for the lack of focus comment, these competitors train for 4 years to get to the olympics and it'd be a little unfair if all that training was just over because someone won by chance in 1 match. and even if YOU dont care about a lot of the sports there are millions of others who do (apart from the horse events, these dont belong in the olympics)

I'm not a fan of the Olympics, but that's one hell of a bigoted attitude you have there. People spend years training themselves to reach the peak of their sport, and to have you belittle that effort only shows how little you see they put into it. I know Christian Malcolm (The sprinter's) Father, and he's so damn proud of his Kid doing what he's doing. I also know the dedication that it's taken for him to get as far as he has. He would never come to the Pub with his father and my father and me cos he was training like hell constantly. He's even bounced back from a virus in this Olympics to take part.

A lot of work goes into it, and until you can do better, quit your critisism.

I wish everyone in the Olympics would go on Drugs, think about...how good would that be.

Anyway, everone should be watching Football. 24/7 like me. Thank god from Sky, including Prem Plus and streams from other countries so I can watch all of the Reds away matches.
