Try downloading everything possible to do with GP32 Emulaters, Roms, Games, Utilities, Divx files ......etc etc....

It kept me sane while waiting for my GP32 to arrive.....

and Harry my imaginary friend agrees with me

I say go fly a kite! Literally!! I flew my rc plane everyday and a kite!! Its very soothing! Cause I couldn't stand waiting either. I was going bonkers!! (not related to Bonks).    :D :D

welcome to my world my friend. i waited 3 months to order my gp32. when i finally did it took a week to get here and it was faulty to top it off. no thats frustartion. so i sent it back last week and its supposed to get here mon or tues so i know exactly how u feel i was like bouncing off wealls and making forts out of bed sheets it was bad man. just be patient and what ever u do dont use ur underwear as a flag for ur spanking new fort unless u want to get beat up! :D

start making a wishlist of stuff you want to play. i did it and it made the time go faster

I bought my gp32 from Play-Asia, it took me 5 days to get it. By the way, I live in Sweden, faaaar away from Asia.

Look at news, read, DL items, play on GeePee, plan the fun, and hope it isn't defective (Mine wasn't defective, but it was a non-FLU when I ordered a FLU, so I had to wait a whole 'nother day <_< )

Trust me, its not really worth the wait. When you get it your going to spend hours on end trying to sort out problems.

None of the emulators work properly yet

I got mine today but I wasnt expecting it for a few days and i didn't get any smc cards doh! i have ordered 2 now but wont get them till thursday or friday    So now i going only look at the little animation that pops up when ya swithch it on <_<

I wouldn't exactly say none of the emus work well......maybe some ..but not many. The ones that are somewhat troublesome are the GB/GBC and perhaps the SNES9.x (with some exception) ....Remember Nintendo emulation shouldn't be what everyone is buying the GP32 for....if it was then you know what kind of emulator it would be???? A GBA ...

I also have to admit after playing LOTS of emulation on other handhelds...this is the only handheld that runs emulation the best.
Try castaway, or Pcengine or FMSX32 or Frodo..........OR SMS32. There really are lots of good ones. Of Course you know emulation is never perfect, thats why its emulation.....if you want perfect...by the older original system at a garage sale.
I can see how expectations are higher than they should be when excitment builds around the purchase of your GP32...just think of it this way. The GP32 is always being improved through software and development.
Thanks to the FANS OF COURSE! :)

Coming form some one who spent over 14 hours compressing movies (most didnt work 'coz im a chimp). If u plan to play video stuff on your GP32 read, read and read some more when u think you've got it Vdub a couple of cards full of your fave DVDs. Because blundering your way though it like I did is a killer, waiting 3 days to see your GP play films. (it was worth it btw).

Emu's not working? as far as I have found out The Atari and PCengine are spot on finish all the games on those systems plus Doom1&2 & Heretic and im sure the SNES and MegaDrive emus will be ready by the time your done. The NES and Master system are great, I get a little crackle in the sound on the title screen of some games but apart form that there bril'. The noise on the SCUMM games is a little annoying 'speshly on the into to DOTT but those games are amazingly playable even with the odd crackle. Get SNES and Mega Drive working on this thing and apart from higher RAM models to play CP1&2 EMU's i dont see any reason to buy another hand held until there have decent 3D chips in them.

Gahhh to much uni work i cant wait for the summer so i can get some coding done

You could always grab the GeePee32 emulator and a devkit and start messing around with that. :)

Exactly!

I think getting GeePee32 and starting to test some of the homebrew stuff would be a good ideas and why not start to read about how to code for it (especially if you are a developper).

I didnt have to wait at all for mine, heard about it one day, read about it the next, then when i thought it sounded gid, i ordered it at 4:30pm and GBAX had at to me by 8am the next morning :D

now its the greatest thing i own (not to make the wait any worse Mindar :p)

you could always try posting here to pass the ti....

........oh never mind
