Well, is it?

I dunno weather to insure it, a friend of mine told me i should cos im always scared of breaking it.

Well, it's covered in my usual insurances, so it's a yes from me ;)

(But I WOULDN'T insure the GP32 alone... would probably be more expensive than buying a new one every year ;))

same for me. Its in our "Hausratversicherung" (don´t know the english word). But i only get it replaced, if it is

1.Stolen
2.broken due to fire, lighning etc. (natural things except for water, since we are living on a hill)
not sure if there is something else i forgotten, but if its broken because I step on it, I won´t get it replaced.

Simple solution, if you step on it, just set it on fire!

House insurance?

Well, that's what mine is presumably covered under.

Yep recently decided to pay extra premium to have personal belonings insurance as i've recently realised i carry over £1000's worth of gadgets on me everyday, especially when on holiday!

Home insurance only covers items when at home.. not if they are stolen off you, for that you need to get personal belongings added.

Covers me for here and abroad, cause travel insurance is pants for covering electrical items... in fact most travel insurance has a discalimer when you read the small print that they do not cover electrical items
