I got the euro firmware that doesnt come with an mp3 player, these gp32s are deffinately not for the average video game user, there a bitch just to get stuff running, and all these user made faqs arent helping at all, not that I'm dissing it's cool people have atleast tried to help, but they all suck and arent really any help all they do is give info on the software not how to run em. I found a faq on getting mp3s on the SMC, but I want to know how to play em, I dumped the mp3 player and it isnt showing up. I checked where the games would be and it wasnt in there. I even dumped it in everyfolder, still cant get it to show up on my gp

Right format in the gp32 app (im drunk dont know the name.. its pc link got it :D)

Anyways u want:

/gpmm/
/mp3/

Then u put ur .fxe files in /gpmm/

simple?

took me 7 hours to get working.. i was stupid tho ^_^

I think he thinks mp3's can run just by being selected, thet's why he's saying only fxe's works. You need to get an mp3 player.

If you have the euro fw, you can use GPManager, use this app to format your smc (IMPORTANT), and install your .fpk that will appear on "GAME" GP32 main menu.

For .fxe and roms, buy a smc writer for your pc, your smc turns a windows drive like F: or Z:, use explorer COPY/PASTE, it writes much faster and it will keep your "more than 8 characters" filenames intact.

I formatted my smcs with pc-link, I cant find anywhere to dl GPmanager, and my GP is now timing out and showing "Processing Error", when it says recover smc it says "0" errors found, it's like this with both my smcs.

OK, I'm guessing this is my problem, I formatted my smc more then once, can you do that?

Na, I didnt know how to install the MP3 player, but now I cant even try since my gp wont communicate with my comp.
