Wouldn't it be cool if you could download a lonely planet guide in electronic form onto your GP32. You could get loads of info on a 128Mb SMC and it would be so much more usable than a phone version.

Maybe something like this

Is there anything that could be adapted to work on the GP32?
 
Isnt there a very early beta map viewer for the GP already?

I think it only had one map with is tho

I just stick my maps into UnitedViewer, I have several different zoom mulitipication and i can mark places on the Map on my PC, excellent for navigating London
 
There is iMappy which can display city maps, although there are only a few available for it - the London Underground map is quite cool...

It was this lead me to thinking about travel guides.... with text, places to go, eat, accomodation, etc. A company like lonely planet could then keep the guides up to date - you would just download it before going somewhere...
