Okay GigaDrive (PicoDrive/Cyclone ported to GP32) submitted to GBAX2004.... and now it's 2am and I need to sleep!

lots of cyclone bugs fixed as well

Hope you enjoy it... zzzzzzzzzz

Damn right I'll enjoy it I can't wait. Dave did u get the core I sent you okay?

that is awesome news, I hope a lot of developers can get some use out of this. I hope that it will mean that we can get some more compatible genesis emulation. I also hope that this means that amiga emulation might become possible and some sort of neo-geo emulation might also become possible. I know that these are really asking for a lot but I really think that this core could really push emulation on the gp32 to a new levle. It's great to hear that there is a solid core like this available for use. I have uses final burn a ton on both xbox and pc and I am amazed by it. I know you are a really talanted coder and the gp32 can really benefit fron your experiance.

PS. ass kissing = 50% appreciation + 50% drunkeness. Either way I hope you win something I fell like people like rlye and squide will put this to use and really blow minds so thank you.

Thank you in advance! I hope many games will work. :D

...oh and maybe publish the sources when you won't develop it any further, because many emus have got some serious bugs that will never be fixed, because the dev doesn't work on it anymore and others can't because they don't have the source. Just my 2P. But the best would of course be that you already made this emu perfect. :p

Excellent work dave! How compatible would you say the Cyclone core is now, when compared a real 68K ?

Not sure - it's pretty good, and it improves each day as I find and squash bugs. There's still one major opcode sadly I didn't have time to add (abcd, sbcd) - this is the one which stops Streets of Rage working (the time out thing), which is a shame because I love SOR1. SOR2 seems to work tho. I'm guessing it must do something ABCD register, $60 to add on 60 seconds ;)

Games which I know of which run well:

Sonic 1, Sonic 2, Revenge of Shinobi, Columns,
Flicky, Mickey Mouse Castle of Illusion,
Castlevania Bloodlines, Golden Axe, Ecco the Dophin,
Spiderman, Altered Beast, After Burner
