works great! Thank you!
I tried a similar thing but apparently forgot that the vertical sync is specified twice (once for the panel and once for the DISPC).
A binary kernel is here:
http://download.goldelico.com/DragonFly/20140326-Pyra+LCD-3.8-Wheezy-7.3/
And I have applied the patch to the sources:
http://git.openpandora.org/cgi-bin/gitweb.cgi?p=pyra-kernel.git;a=shortlog;h...
Finally I have aded it to my work-in-progress 3.14-rc8 GTA04 kernel where a slightly simpler patch works:
http://git.goldelico.com/?p=gta04-kernel.git;a=shortlog;h=refs/heads/3.14-rc... http://download.goldelico.com/DragonFly/20140326-Pyra+LCD-3.14-Wheezy-7.3/ (note that it has a different boot.scr)

Dear Nikolaus and notaz,
thanks a lot :) I'll try that out later as well.
About the kernel: As far as I understood notaz, TI stuff is mostly included in kernel 3.8 right now (like 2D Accelerator).
Does it make sense moving to 3.14 or should we stay with 3.8 until 3.14 supports all features we need?

Yes.

My personal plan is to do a mixture - to add more and more things to 3.14 to have it as a hardware-development-support kernel (i.e. not heavily optimized but working and well understood where to change things to make hardware testable).
Some fixes I am waiting for may (or may not) appear in 3.15-rc1 in 2-3 weeks.
And since we won't have a new hardware that needs more kernel development in the next 4-8 weeks it is not even urgent to think deeply about it.
At the time the first real Pyra comes out I think 3.16 or 3.17 will be official. And that one should have collected some more OMAP5 / EVM patches submitted to Linus.
So I think for user-space development on the EVM the best is to stay with the 3.8 kernel (where PVR/SGX should also be easily available).

Hi Nikolaus,
A binary kernel is here:
http://download.goldelico.com/DragonFly/20140326-Pyra+LCD-3.8-Wheezy-7.3/
That kernel doesn't work for me. The screen is not initialized and stays dark.
Any idea?
