FYI:
I have run a very simple benchmark code that does many 3D affine transforms in succession. So it is a FPU benchmark (in armhf = VFP architecture).
The OMAP5432EVM is approx. 8 times as fast as the GTA04 with DM3730CBP1000.
And I don't even know if the OMAP5 is running at full speed in this test.

Some more comparisons (same source code compiled for 32 bit i386):
it is 4 times as fast as a 900 MHz Single Core Celeron (M) [in my eeePC700] And a 2.8 GHz Core 2 Duo is only twice as fast as the OMAP5
So we have:
OMAP3 @ 1 GHz 9.5s Celeron @ 900 MHz 4.5s OMAP5 @ ? 1.2s Core2Duo @ 2.8 GHz 0.6s
Looks quite convincing.
