Hi,
if somebody could share an SD image (or at least all the boot files, to eliminate any possible bootloader/MLO differences)
DEV=/dev/sdd ./makesd omap5432evm -f1 -b OMAP5432-uEVM/2016-05-10 -k letux-4.8-rc6 -d letux-4.8-rc6 -f2 -m letux-4.8-rc6 xfce
Doesn't work ("unknown macro: xfce"),
Sorry. Should have been
DEV=/dev/sdd ./makesd omap5432evm -f1 -b OMAP5432-uEVM/2016-05-10 -k letux-4.8-rc6 -d letux-4.8-rc6 -f2 -m letux-4.8-rc6 -r xfce
but worked when I removed the "xfce" argument.
Then it defaults to lxde.
And quite unsurprisingly it seems to be stable at 12V. I guess Roy has nailed it - at least some uEVMs have problems when powered by 5V supply. OMAP5 and/or it's PMIC are really picky on power delivery. As we live in imperfect world of imperfect 5V supplies and cables, looks like it's going to be difficult to make it stable on Pyra...
At least if we want it to run without battery from arbitrarily chosen power supplies which just happen to have the correct connector.
