Hi Peter,
sorry for bothering you directly. I'm working on (continue on adding AESS support for pyra). Andrey mentioned thread [0] where you shared AESS firmware. I tried to fetch it but unfortunately repo seems to be down. Can you please it again (if possible). Many thanks.
I have migrated things to github a while back: https://github.com/omap-audio/linux-audio
The same branches are cloned and should be accessible.
On note: the firmware/omap-aess-adfw.bin is the AESS firmware with the dynamic firmware 'wrap'.
It was created with: https://github.com/omap-audio/abefw/tree/peter/bnw https://github.com/omap-audio/asoc-fw/tree/peter/bnw
the abefw repo contains the bare AESS firmware. There are instructions on how to build it.
I followed instruction on abefw and was able to compile abegen and then using script generate omap_abe_fw IIRC this FW can be used to load to AESS (even without dynamic wrap content)?
The asoc-fw repos is to build the ASoC dynamic firmware image.
I'll try to hack new soc-topology changes and post pull request.

Thanks and BR,
marek

Oh, and it seems Peter already pushed the firmware for us: https://www.pyra-handheld.com/pipermail/kernel/2014-March/000276.html
Cool. Thanks for sharing. I'll check.

Nope unfortunately I became subscriber last week only :(.
The archive appears to work if you add a security exception to work around invalid HTTPS certificate:
https://www.pyra-handheld.com/pipermail/kernel/2017-September/002051. html
Also just search for all mentions of AESS, ABE in the whole archive.
Also just bug Peter :-P
DO you have binary blob so we can test at least some parts? Thanks.
I don't see any firmware files around, also I never really knew which to use. My vague understanding was that it depends which branch of TI kernel you use. So again, best of luck reading the archives and bugging Peter.
