Hi,
I can confirm this. On all Laptops I have, a closed lid is always 1. Makes sense, as some even have physical switches which are being pressed down when the lid is closed, and a pressed switch usually is 1 :)

I suspect the lid sensor is reporting inverted values.
when moving a magnet near the sensor : Event: time 1567454822.385329, type 5 (EV_SW), code 0 (SW_LID), value 0
moving magnet away : Event: time 1567454828.075064, type 5 (EV_SW), code 0 (SW_LID), value 1
Well, it is defined as an "lid is open" sensor, i.e. magnet moved away. Or should it be an "lid is closed" indicator?
This is quite arbitrary... Is there some "standard" we can follow here?
My other devices all show SW_LID value 1 when the lid is closed, so I guess that's the standard.
Ok. If that is the standard, we have to change it to fit to the standard. Patches attached.
I'll add them to the next build.
