ifconfig -a reports no eth0 device.
I see nothing useful in dmesg/syslog.
The letux-4.8 kernel works on EVM:
root@letux:~# lsmod|fgrep sms smsc95xx 17023 0 usbnet 24515 1 smsc95xx root@letux:~# [ 243.566449] IPv6: ADDRCONF(NETDEV_CHANGE): eth0: link becomes ready [ 243.574716] smsc95xx 1-3:1.0 eth0: link up, 100Mbps, full-duplex, lpa 0x45E1 [ 245.164131] smsc95xx 1-3:1.0 eth0: link down
We have never touched the smsc drivers, so the main difference could be the omap2plus_defconfig. Maybe something is missing or disabled by some new dependency.
