*important* this is a test release. It may not work.

Whilst running a game pressing start *should* return you to the menu screen.. I can't get it to work in the emulator, but my key config is seriously screwy.. It says Q is binded to start, when it's binded to A, and it stays that way even when I redefine? Blaah..

Could be a bit faster than the last release, could be a bit slower. Please let me know. :)

I also got that, I was trying to map arrows to WASD and L and R to Q and E, and A kept switching back to Q ... it's a bug in the emu.

I may be doing something wrong but it doesn't go back to selection screen after pressing start. Functionally it plays pretty much the same as the last release (it may be a little faster?).

No, I'm probably doing something wrong ;) Does it do anything if you press start?

It appears that you cannot return to a file select menu by pressing the 'start' button. I think the speed is roughly the same as the previous release.

I am not sure, but there may be graphical glitches, i.e., the disappearing and reappearing of the land surface in Scramble, which did not occur in the previous release, however I may be way off the mark here and would need to load back up the last emu release to be able to make a proper comparison.

Great stuff though, and believe me, to be able to play the Vectrex version of Scramble on my GP32 at a proper framerate, is a mouth-watering prospect! :D

Sorry about the return to menu option not working.. It's wierd that pressing start does nothing, I'd expect a crash at least. ;) Ahh nevermind.. I'll take a look at it tonight and see if I can get it working in the emulator, and also have a look at Scramble. But there's not much I can do on it until my GP32 arrives (next wednesday hopefully!!).

So in the meantime I'm working on a game, and I might start porting another emulator (any suggestions?).

I'll have a look at CPC, I've never had one (C64!!, are the games any good?

I've a CPC 6128, a C128D, a MSX2 and a Spectrum+3 and I prefer the CPC 6128 by far.
Try the CPC versions of Nebulus, Target Renegade, Marauder, Wec le Mans, 1943, Dragon's Lair 2, Navy Moves, Abu Simbel Profanation with a CPC emu (WinApe is the best) and you'll see what a good game is.
