Sometimes I think you are a 2nd version of me Canseco, as most of your software ports are right up my alley and in the middle of my field of interest.

Many times Canseco will port something I've never heard of. Once I read about it, I realize it is something I'm very excited to try.

Tried it again with a couple of my troublesome comics (cbr files that contain high res jpeg pics) - still caused an issue and made the reader unusable slow.

Then I tried what I should have tried months ago, just create and use a swap file... fixes everything.
    Great comics reader :)

BTW. using the keys down and up for moving up and down in a page while the keys right and left were used for next or previous page were a bit unintuitive. Luckily the keybindings can be easily adjusted in the settings.
Changed the dpad keys to navigate through the pages and the action buttons for next - previous page.
