Everytime when i encode a video in xvid, and watch it on my computer for my gp32, theres always a movement glitch that never goes away. I tried reinstalling the codec, but that didnt fix it. Does anyone have this problem?

nah, it happens to every video i encode with xvid, 1500kbps, 150kbps, 15fps, and so on.

[simple xvid tip]

in Bitrate option, select 1Pass-puantizer instead of 1Pass-CBR.

(it's better at fast-moving scene.)

and give number 10.

(1-31, small number will looks better, but increases size.)

A get a glich every once or twice every movie where there is rapid movement/color changes and loud sound. For me, it helps if I lower the frame rate to about one notch lower. (For example: 166 - 24 FPS recommended; 166 - 20 FPS, no glitch) ;)

Heres what i mean.

dozer: that's because your xvid codec being handled by divx 5.0+ or you have an older (stable) version of Xvid codec.

it's not the problem of encoding. The decoding process causes that glitches.
