After I encode an avi with virtualdub using the Xvid Codec, the picture is green and it doesn't change until the next screen transition. Also, whenever i dl something from kazza using the Xvid codec its green too. Wierd... <_<

Had the same problem, removed all my codecs and installed them one at a time.
One of your codecs does not like xvid...probably a direct show codec.

To encode movie by Xvid codec, please down and install Xvid codec 04102002-1 Koepi's build.
Then you can encode movies for GP Cinema properly by Virtual dub or Movielink.
You can down this codec from PDS section in JoyGP.

I would agree with gearhead23, in the fact its not the encoding but the decoding that wrong.

nimo codec pack is a prime example of screwing up codecs so xvid encoded files come up green.
