Thats what I think , most of their links dont work and the last update was around march...
Well, they were supposedly trying to update the specs to be more competitive since development took longer than expected. But, of course, if they just keep updating the specs because of delays, the things will never be released. The hardware they were going to use would also look a bit dated now, the most recent info I have (from late last year) is that they have no money and can't make the XGP.
Gamepark told me otherwise in an e-mail that I've posted on this forum at but I don't know the truth. Obviously neither side is going to admit their "talent" was lost.(I know people on here have said otherwise) but all the 'talent' went to GP Holdings and I think the fact the GP2X exists is testament to that.
^ it looks a bit dated to me (well for a new system, think 8 months dev time etc.), plus i've heard that it is a lot slower than it appears from people who have worked with it.
if i where you i'd ban youwell, gph and gp are both idiots, the question is who are less idiotic
Craig, do you mean the current version of the XGP that GP made or the IMX31 chip?^ it looks a bit dated to me (well for a new system, think 8 months dev time etc.), plus i've heard that it is a lot slower than it appears from people who have worked with it.

What, that one intern engineer who doesn't know how to design a thing :rolleyes:The hardware they were going to use would also look a bit dated now, the most recent info I have (from late last year) is that they have no money and can't make the XGP.

I assume you don't mean the i.mx31. It's more than twice the GP2x in raw power, and it has a 3D accelerator.^ it looks a bit dated to me (well for a new system, think 8 months dev time etc.), plus i've heard that it is a lot slower than it appears from people who have worked with it.

Their split seems a bit silly anyway - they are both headed in the same direction and isn't the main shareholder in both companies the same person or something?
