hi all
is there a decent Windows media player available for the gp32 its just im lugging round my mp3 player my SPV phone AND my GP32.

If i could ditch the mp3 player that would be great but with only 128 meg of memory I can only get 2 albums on at the 128kb mp3 format i need 64 kbs wma support.

any ideas ?

wait for an OGG player, far better format.

And remember that WMA hasnt really got all that much better compression than MP3, the trick they use is upping the volume, thus giving the illusion of better quality.

true OGG is great but WMA not having much better compression that MP3, have yuo listened to a 64 k mp3 versus a 64k wma? I think there a huge difference personally

WMA sound quality is nearly as good as OGG, certainly far better than mp3.
The problem with WMA is that its Microsofts own proprietary format, so there are no open source decoding libs that anyone could port to GP32 (AFAIK anyway), while the OGG format is in the public domain and the decoding libs are totally open source.

Does anyone know if that OGG player is still in development? Havent heard anything about it in a while..
