Whenever I try to connect to an access point while running Android, I get hung on the "Obtaining IP Address" message. After a minute or so the Wi-Fi light turns itself off and back on, like the card crashed and reset or something, and it tries reconnecting. This continues indefinitely until I turn off Wi-Fi manually.

I'm using a LinkSys router, WEP encryption, and SSID broadcast is on. Running the latest PND of Android on a Rebirth Edition Pandora. Wi-Fi works perfectly outside of Android.

Help?

Just for an experiment, try to connect to another router to to see what happens and we can go from there..

Since it is Notaz's port of Android, maybe you could PM him and ask him these questions?  I think that I read somewhere a while back that he might not be supporting this piece of software anymore, but it might be worth a shot, eh?

Did you turn on wifi in zaxxon before starting android?

Turning on Airplane mode and then turn on the Wifi sometimes makes it connect better.
