gba
old gb
virtual boy
sega nomad
neo geo pocket
snes
nes
xbox
ps2
atari 2600
dreamcast
and of course my pc

and i used to own:
turbo express
genesis/megadrive
gbc
game gear
master system
saturn

those got sold off for money for new games and systems, darn shame.

but i love my ps2 for winning eleven soccer
:D

Sega:
Mastersystem 2
Megadrive
Dreamcast

Atari:
VCS (6-switch version)
Jaguar
Lynx

Nintendo:
NES
SNES
Gameboy Colour

and of course the GP32 and more computers than are strictly necessary (commodore VIC 20,16,+4,64,PET 4016 - Spectrun 16k, 48k - MSX - BBC Master 512,Master compact, Acorn A3010, Amiga 1200, Atari 800XL, Eaca colourgenie)

and there's a nagging feeling in the back of my mind that i've missed something along the way...

...
I don't own ANY systems on that poll! ;) (on second glance, I do own a GBC...)

I do own a few, though (though not nearly as much as djroll). :)

Consoles:

Dreamcast (most often played of the consoles)
SNES
err... non-working NES? Does that count?

Handhelds:

Nintendo Game Boy
Nintendo Game Boy Color
Sega Game Gear / SMS with adapter
Sega Nomad (the highlight of the collection)

Yes, I prefer handhelds.

I don't consider myself a dedicated gamer, though; I still mainly play them to have fun.

P.S. sack: Could it be that you've missed the entire NEC console line-up? Not to worry, though, GPengine is nearly the same thing. No CDs, that's true, but I was considering buying a Turboexpress somewhere along the way, and the GP32 (GPengine specifically) definetely nullifies my chances of buying that handheld.

i was thinking 'have i missed something that I already own from the list?'

but I'm not done with buying consoles yet - not by a longshot. My current problem is where to keep putting the damn things...

This is my first post (YEY)

Erm ive started to collect bits and pieces now so heres me short list (hopefully gonna be larger in a couple of years :p )

Amiga 600
Amiga 1200 (BOXED)
Sega Saturn (BOXED)
Sony Playstation (BOXED)
Sega Dreamcast
Gameboy Colour (BOXED)
My PC (this is my one love as i spend aproxametly 6 hours a day on the thing and its always switched on as it dont like being cold when it boots up :D the stupid thing locks up)

And soon i will have my gp32 when i get a job (he he)

From
Mike

GP32
Game Boy (the first grey one :) )
SNES
C64
and I have a lot of emulators on my PC

I gotta PS2, but gonna buy a GC next month, tis cheap!

sold my GBA so i could afford a slinky new gp32

I have a GBA and I wish that I could get a GC AND GP32, my mom says that I JUST can have a GP32, if I REALLY want it (all with my own money of course), but if I said I wanted a GC she'd go CRAZY and say NO NO NO NO!!!!!!!!! She dosen't see the point of lots of consoles  I keep telling her that there are DIFFRENT games for diffrent consoles and that I like lots of diffrent the games, but still NO NO NO!

I've got:

Xbox + Live (which rocks) , N64, PS2, SNES, GBA, GP32 (got it last weekend).

Dead chuffed with the GP32. SNES support is a bit crappy though (slow) but running the old GG and SMS games is great. Sonic is still cool. Struggle to get hold of Gameboy roms though as they all seem to be GBA on Kazaa which I have anyway.

Oh and one last thing for my first post. If you are a newbie like me, download the PC engine emulator GPengine. It is sooo well written and you can play some real classics on it.

Current line-up:

PS2
Game Cube
PSX (seen better days, can be persuaded to work)
PC Engine Duo-R (the daddy of the daddy of all cosoles.)
Neo Geo (stolen some time ago. Grrr  )
ZX81/Spectrum (still goddem somewhere...)
Spose I should include the PC...

Portable stuff:
GBA (cracked screen due to epic voyage down some stairs :( )
GBA SP (nice little unit)
Neo Geo Pocket Colour (I mourn the loss of SNK)
GB colour
...and of course, GP32! Yay!

Ok-i'm an old gamer (37) so i still got

zx-81
jupiter ace
snes

but still using
gp32
xbox
1.7mhz pc
dreamcast
ps2
ps1

Hey, it's okay for us old guys to hang around, isn't it? I'll turn 30 this year ... hard to believe.

Anyway, upstairs in my loft, I have hooked up:

Atari 2600
Sega Genesis
Super Nintendo (w/console copier)
Nintendo 64 (w/console copier)
Sega Dreamcast
Playstation (modded)
Playstation 2 (modded)

Have my GP32 and had a GBA until last week (eBay'ed it).

Out in the garage:

Sears Pong
Apple II systems (two, never tested)
Atari 2600 (at least three or four different models)
Atari 5200
Commodore 64 (probably three or four complete systems)
SX64 (luggable version of the 64)
Macintosh Classic (someone gave it to me, never used)
NES (two, maybe three systems)
TI99/4a

I think that's it ... I'll probably pick up a Gamecube and an Xbox in a year or two when they hit the $99 mark.

Flack
