Heres the first release of the Vektar port to Pandora.

    Repo: Here

    Apps: Here

Vektar was written by Dzz and Craigix for the GP2X. Thanks to Craigix he allowed me to tinker with the source and I have ported vektar to use a SDL backend allowing us to play vektar just about anywhere.

    I have also added:

    pixel scaling (scale2x),

extended the viewing area to support the wider screen

scaled or offset the menus to look better on the widescreen

added full SDL input so nubs are supported

I've edited the description on Pandora apps, the game is nothing like geometry wars. It's an asteroids style game.

I like to think that SGD has some Asteroids influences, but it's not my game. When I describe it, I describe it as 3D asteroids on a globe with other enemies. Looking forward to trying this. Thanks Craig, Pickle and the rest!

Thanks for this. Just tried it, I get some random slowdowns at times, but else it is fantastic.

Seams to lower the volume if you pause the games other than that perfect.

Yeah at 500 mhz its running slower than it should, try 600 mhz. Ill take a second look into the frame limiter.

After I killed Sheepie, my game ended, allowed me to put in a high score (twice??), and unlocked the next levels, but my game was over and Sheepie didn't kill me, I killed the Sheepie.

The 'Zone complete' message should have appeared, along with the first part of the quite frankly ridiculous storyline, did this not happen?

Maybe you're not clearing button presses and if they are still hammering fire/pressing fire it skips the screen? Maybe add a delay in for 5 seconds so they have to see it?

I think I found a bug... the shield bar doesn't change. It's full the whole time and suddenly you die.

Also, the highscore entry screen lags. The rest of the game is fine so far, looks great on the big screen.

No part of the rediculous storyline did show up, but then it stopped and I was allowed to enter the high score twice. It was late, but I'm pretty sure that's how it went down. I had to start a new game in order to fight the newly opened levels.

I have not been able to confirm the shield bar not decreasing. Whenever i activate the shields it goes down.

The post wave story stuff works, but i can confirm that if you hold down fire through the entire thing the screen go by in a split second.

I fixed the overall speed, had vsync after the flip not before. Also i did a clean build with neon flags and now things fly.
