Hi,

I updated TV-Browser .PND to version 3.2.1 http://www.tvbrowser.org/en.html

It adds several new features and some speed improvements.

If you already have version 3.1 installed, it will ask you to update your Plugins. I recommend you do so (so make sure you are connected to the Internet). It should keep all your settings and already available TV data.

TV-Browser gets the daily TV program from the internet and shows it clearly aranged - like a printed TV guide. An internet connection is only necessary during the data update. Note: You can not use TV-Browser to watch TV.

It knows a lot of channels (TV and radio!) from Europe, USA and Australia.

Full list of channels is available here:

http://www.tvbrowser...ainmenu-34.html

On first start it checks for an internet-connection and lets you set up you favourite channels and so on. Language of the menus can be changed afterwards in the preferences.

Known issues:

Java apps are pretty demanding. Everything is fine on 1GHz units, but 600MHz need overclocking!

- 600MHz only: it may crash during first setup, or while doing "too many things" (like changing a lot of preferences). Just start it up again and continue.

Once set up, normal browsing of the TV data is pretty stable and you might even get away with running at 800MHz. Disabling some "fancy" features in the preferences may improve stability as well.

- first setup wizard window is too large, you can resize it or move it with the stylus while keeping left shoulder-button pressed. Same for the preferences-window

Changes for Pandora version:

included a default-settings file to:

- change initial size of main-window

- disable "personas" (fancy skins). It is not removed from the package, so you can activate it again (not recommended)

Get it from the repo: http://repo.openpand...vbrowser.fs.000

Big thanks to WizardStand for his Java PND and Foxblock for his PNDTools!

Very good work from you.

:)

Thanks :)

I didn't really do much though, since I'm not really a programmer. I'm lucky that it more or less just works by adjusting some settings and writing a new start script :p
