Hi all,

I have an F200 which I have connected to a wireless network using a USB dongle (all working fine). I recently went to transfer a large avi to the SD card using the samba share and it crashed part way through. Now the SD card will not work at all! I'm not over concerned as SD cards are so cheap but am interested to know if anyone else has had the same issue. I'd rather not keep trashing SD cards so I wont transfer over the network anymore.

Thanks,

CR

Format the card again using Linux or an Ubuntu Live CD using the command:

sudo mkdosfs -F [16 or 32] /dev/[SD CARD DEVICE ID]

I've revived countless cards from crashes such as you describe exactly this way.
